Got a Big Decision to Make?

Making godly decisions is about building our entire life on Christ as the foundation, not just giving Him certain areas while keeping others separate. The key question isn't merely 'What is God's plan for my life?' but 'How does my life fit into God's plan?' Our spiritual maturity affects what God can reveal to us, but He's given us the Holy Spirit and His Word to guide us into all truth.Five keys can help us make wise decisions. First, look up to God in prayer before trying to figure things out on your own. Second, think back on past experiences and how God has guided you previously. Third, dial in by examining your heart motives against Scripture, recognizing that feelings can sometimes deceive us. Fourth, zoom out to consider the long-term impact of your choices, even thinking about your legacy and what will matter in eternity. Finally, ask around for godly counsel from trusted believers who will speak truth into your life.Even when we make wrong decisions, God's heart toward us remains the same – He has thoughts of peace, not evil, to give us a future and hope. He invites us to call upon Him, pray, and seek Him with our whole heart. By applying these principles to both small and large decisions, we develop wisdom and discernment that aligns our choices with God's perfect will.
