Acts 12:5-11
When Angels Come!

Angels play a significant role in the lives of believers as ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. The Bible contains numerous accounts of angelic encounters, including Peter's miraculous prison escape in Acts 12, where an angel appeared with supernatural light, broke his chains, and led him past guards to safety. This demonstrates how angels operate in life-threatening situations, bringing divine intervention when needed.Today, angels continue to minister to believers through protection from danger, bringing strength and encouragement during difficult times, delivering specific messages from God, and potentially facilitating divine healing. However, discernment is crucial as Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. Genuine angelic ministry always exalts Jesus Christ, aligns with Scripture, strengthens believers, serves a divine purpose, and brings peace rather than confusion. When experiencing potential angelic activity, believers should quiet themselves, listen for God's voice, and discern if there's someone they need to pray for. The ultimate purpose of angelic ministry is to help fulfill God's purposes in our lives, enabling us to effectively share the gospel and bring others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
