Walking with God isn't complicated, but it requires embracing the simple, trusting faith of a child. Jesus declared that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven - not childish or immature, but possessing the carefree, joyful, and completely dependent nature that children have toward their parents. This means trusting God completely without worrying about tomorrow or questioning His love.
Jesus modeled this by doing only what He saw the Father doing and speaking only what He heard from the Father. In our information-saturated world, we must learn to discern God's activity amidst all the noise, protecting our eye and ear gates while intentionally seeking to see and hear from Him. Our thoughts matter spiritually because our minds function like thermostats, setting the climate for our entire being. When we renew our minds through God's Word relationally, it brings transformation that flows from our hearts through our words and actions.
This alignment enables us to walk in supernatural authority and ministry. The Holy Spirit dwelling within us provides both power and authority to do the works Jesus did. Like Enoch, who walked so closely with God that he stepped right into eternity, consistent faithful obedience to God's revealed will develops intimacy and sensitivity to His voice and activity.
